I bought a haro shift r1 in a 20″ frame. When I bought the bike I was told that it was the largest frame they made for the bike, then I went online and saw they offered it in a 21″. When i confronted they guy at the store who sold me the bike he said a month or two ago they started offering the bike in 2 new colors and the 21″ option. Is this guy full of shit and just wanted a quick sale? or is he telling me the certainty?

The R1 has always been available in 14, 16, 18, 20, and 21″ frames. It is the same frame as the R2 and R3. This is a common size spread for Haro.
Now, to suggest an description… the dealer you went to may not have been able to get a 21″ framed bike due to supply which could be why he said they weren’t available. The 2009 versions are the models that have the different colors.
