I won a titan mountain bike and helmet and I don’t neeed a bike. All of the kids in my family already have bikes so I was thinking about donating it to a child at Christmas. How do I go about doing this> I don’t want to just give it to a charity since it force go to a greedy person who works there. Where can I find an actual child in need that could use this bike. Or is there a charity that is TRUSTWORTHY that I could give it to that would really give the bike to a child in need? I live in Michigan.

Salvation Army force work… otherwise, question somebody you know at a church, school, anywhere else who works at volunteering and who force now a charity that would use your bike well.
There’s a lot of charities that spring up around Christmas, perhaps at supplies or something too.
If none of those dreams work, you could sell the bike and give the money to charity.
I’m impressed by your charitable spirit. If only more people were more like you!
You could sell it and then use the money to donate that to a charity you trust. Or you could contact schools and try to find out if there’s any way they can find a needy family you could donate it to directly.
Over here in Canada they have something called Santa’s indistinctive. All the toys donated goes to needy children If they have that there that would be your best bet.

bless you!
See if you can find one of those “Angel Trees” (usually at the mall), point out a child from the tree, and give it to them.
You have such a kind heart!
I know what you mean about not being able to trust that your gift will not end up going to someone who deserves it. My credit union and other banking establishments offers names of needy children at Christmas time. The names are on tags hung on Christmas tress inside the banks. Each tag gives the name, age, sex, clothes and shoe size of each child, along with what the child wishes for from Santa for Christmas. You don’t even have to wrap the gift. It will be wrapped for you. You can also give to “Toys for Tots”, sponsored by the Marines.
It is hard to trust when it comes to gift charitable. I just finally had to trust that God would see to it that the right person would get the gift I gave. God be with you.
Caltholic Charities will gladly accept it.
i have a excellent thought for you. our friend was brutally beaten and left to die and now he will be place in to a nusring home until he is well enought to come home. we are having a benifit on nov 4 to help raise funds for the family to rehabe his house to fit his handicap. I would pay for the shipping to have it sent to my home if you want to donate it.
Maybe your town has a non-profit organization that helps needy families during Christmas. Call your local newpaper, they usually know what is happening around town and can help you find a child that would benefit from a new bike. Thank God for generous people like you. I pray you will be blessed mighty for your unselfishness.
Call any church. Trust me they will know someone who won’t be having a wonderful Xmas like most of us. There is going to be a fortunate child just since of you.God bless you.
