@turner358 No set rule that I know of. I always start about 2-3″ longer than I really need.
very helpful video. i always have distress adjusting the actual cable length itself, which normally consequences in a ruined cable. any suggestions? cheers
@AClarke2007 Thanks for watching! Yeah, the Creative Vado I was using at the time had horrible volume.
Thanks for explaining well but I had to crank the volume up for this viewing.
Thank you for the quick response. I will look into that as the deraileur is getting on.
@craigdk2010 Thanks, I appreciate the comments! I would check out the spring on the rear D it force be worn and need replaced. Force be able to stretch it to add some tension.
@jipra Thanks and glad I could help!
@chocolatebrad126 Thanks!
@Bradleygh92 Thanks, I appreciate it. I try to get in as much info as possible!
This is superb!! I have mine running very nearly perfectly after following your steps. Just one issue you force be able to solve…when changing from smallest to the largest sprocket, there is a indecision before it follows through on the middle ones (gears 3 – 7 of 9), in the opposite direction it is instantaneous. How would I fine tune this?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
You have a fantastic way of doing it, I would say this mode is perfect and all other methods I have tried from users on youtube have not worked! Plus the close ups that you get on your camera are also very helpful!
Thank you very much!
