I picked one up at a garage sale now. It has European style inner tubes, 27 x 1 1/4″ rims. It is a 12-speed. The handlebars are like a mountain bike but a small flared – not racer handlebars. It looks like it’s about 20 years ancient, but it’s in fantastic shape. I know Bianchi made a model called a Del Mondo, but I don’t reflect this is a Bianchi, as it doesn’t say Bianchi anywhere on the bike that I can see.

could be late eightys low grade for american market with 27x 1 1/4 tyres the handle bar style is like std road england.
Looked on internet one on internet ladies with picture 12 speed 27″ wheels asking $150 in the U.S.
name is Italian but sure thats only conection to there.
