There were 3 women bikes, and i picked one, while i was pushing it around, it was not very noticeable, but when i pushed it around, i felt a slight slight tiny brake resistance each 3 or 4 seconds. I assumed it was since the pedals werent in work. But when i got home and rode it around a few times, i go down a hill and i can feel that each 3-4 seconds it kinda breaks a small small small small bit!
Is this odd? Is it a frequent thing that i can easily fix? loose screw?
Please help if you have an thought!
Or i must return it.. :\
thanks!

The wheel is not straight. Take it back, get your money back, and get a real bike at a bike shop.
adjust the breaks doubtless when they place it together
they by no means adjusted t he breaks properly.take it back and have them do it so you won’t be liable
The wheel is out of right and the bike doubtless needs to be fully adjusted. Returning the bike for another will doubtless result in similar issues.
Take the bike to a BIKE SHOP and get a tune up. It’ll cost about $40 but it will then operate correctly.
I observed that the brakes are a small too tight on the floor models in Costco. If you open up the bag with the tools (from your Costco bike) , you can use one of the L shaped tools to loosen up the brake, slightly and tighten it back, this will give you immediate consequences.
The real conundrum but is…..
If you raise the Bike and rotate the wheel(front or back) one at a time, you will see that the wheel kind of wobbles laterally(as you see from the top, a slight movement from side to side). This is called out of right(the right shape being a perfect circle). This is caused by loose spokes or terrible mounting or any of the other myriad reasons. A tune-up will help you fix this. You force or force not want to fix the truing yourself, this depends on your skill set. Get on youtube and see why you force or force not want to shell this money for a tune-up.
Hope this helps, by the way…. Very nearly all bikes will have this, the bicycle shop will fix this and give it to you… a large retailer does not have the skilled hands on the floor.
But, I just bought the bike and I reflect it is a very excellent value for money. Fortunate riding.
